Adm. Michael S. Rogers, head of the American Stazi, recently said:
“I don’t want a back door,” Rogers, the director of the nation’s top electronic spy agency, said during a speech at Princeton University, using a tech industry term for covert measures to bypass device security. “I want a front door. And I want the front door to have multiple locks. Big locks.”
This made me laugh really hard.
The government acts like they are actually trustworthy and harmless. The fact is they are the biggest threat to our freedom and security.
They are the FIRST people I think about when I think about threats.
Anyone who has a politically incorrect opinion, has a business plan they would not like competitors to learn about, has an invention they don’t want to get stolen, has a friend or relative in a (even more) repressive regime overseas, or just has an opinion the government doesn’t like, has a good reason to want privacy.
The government WILL steal your ideas, censor you, and kill you.
No Al Qaida terrorists, Russian hackers, or Iranian mullahs are trying to do those things to me.
