The CNN commies Whine…
“Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they believe the Constitution guarantees each person the right to own a gun, according to a poll released Sunday.”
Notice the way it’s worded, “…Americans say they believe..” as if they believed in some weird and absurd cult notion. This was from a CNN poll released Sunday. You can almost feel the seething disdain, as the commies at CNN find that after decades of propaganda, hate and scare tactics, they still can’t get the average American let go of quaint notions like “self defense. Here was CNN’s argument, interjected into the story:
The Second Amendment to the Constitution says: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed upon.” Some have interpreted those words to mean that everyone has a right to own a gun; others say the amendment protects only the right of citizens to form a militia.
Gee, I wonder who those “others” are? Obviously they don’t represent the people. Looks like the Commie News Network still has its work cut out for it. Brace yourself for more lurid, over the top and wall to wall coverage of yet another shooting by someone, somewhere.
What we can count on, if the commies ever get their way, is that the “average” American may be disarmed, but the people now trying to make that happen will make sure THEY themselves have guns. Hypocrisy is the defining characteristic of the average commie (liberals et al).
These people don’t want to get rid of guns, they just want to get rid of guns for OTHER people. This is a continuing theme among the leftist. It fits with their marxoid paradigm that treats the average American like a pet. My ongoing fantasy is to make these people live the way they want the rest of us to live. I’d like to drop them off in a high crime area, or third world country, with nothing but the clothes on their back. That would be reality TV worth watching!
Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year — or about 6,850 times a day. This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives.
